Joaquim Borràs, Deputy Director General of Archives and Documentary Management, and Enric Cobo, Head of the Coordination Service of the Network of Regional Archives, attend the 75th Anniversary of the International Council on Archives at the National Archives Museum of Paris, France.
The event focused on a retrospective of the Council with a round table on “The changing role of archives in the information society in the last 75 years”.
Josée Kirps, president of the ICA and co-chair of the Directorate Committee of the ICA Barcelona Congress 2025, highlighted the work of the ICA and the numerous archivist professionals around the world, from its foundation to today.
The constant collaboration between archivists and document managers, she stated, has been an essential piece for the development of the community of archivists.
